😒If Virat Kohli is calling you, don’t believe it unless you are Anushka — Beware of the latest AI scam that's taking India by storm! According to a recent study, a shocking 83% of Indians have fallen prey to fraudulent activities that use AI to mimic the voices of their loved ones in distress.

What's even more concerning is that nearly 7 out of 10 Indians are unable to distinguish between a genuine human voice and an AI-generated voice. This has resulted in nearly half of the Indian adults (47%) either becoming victims of or knowing someone who has fallen prey to AI voice scams - a percentage that's almost double the global average!

But the most heartbreaking part is that a whopping 83% of Indian victims of AI voice scams have reported monetary losses, with nearly half of them (48%) losing more than ₹50,000.

These numbers are alarming, and we urge our readers to stay vigilant and informed. Remember, when in doubt, always verify the identity of the person on the other end before sharing any personal or financial information. Let's keep our loved ones and ourselves safe from these AI scams!

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to introduce coding and artificial intelligence (AI) in the curriculum for Classes 6 to 8, as a part of the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
